Description

No Bake Oreo Truffles are decadent, bite-sized treats made by combining crushed Oreo cookies with cream cheese, then dipped in melted chocolate and decorated with sprinkles. These easy-to-make truffles require no baking and are perfect for parties or sweet snacking.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 25 original Oreo cookies
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened

For Dipping and Decoration

  • 1/2 cup chopped white chocolate for dipping
  • 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate for dipping
  • Assorted sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until they are crushed into small crumbs.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese and process again until you get a big balled clump on one side that looks very shiny.
  3. Form the Truffles: Use a medium cookie scoop to portion the mixture into 1 inch balls. Roll each ball between the palms of your hands to create a smooth and even shape. Place the truffles on parchment paper and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt the Chocolates: Place white and dark chocolate in separate microwaveable bowls and microwave in 30 second intervals until nearly melted. Stop when there are still a few small unmelted pieces and stir to melt completely, avoiding burning.
  5. Dip the Truffles: Dip each chilled truffle into your choice of melted chocolate, then place back onto the parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles or extra drizzles of chocolate if desired.
  6. Let Chocolate Harden: Allow the chocolate coating to set by either leaving the truffles at room temperature for about 30 minutes, refrigerating for 10 minutes, or freezing for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use regular Oreos as Double Stuf Oreos have too much filling and change the texture.
  • Any chocolate variety like white, milk, ruby, or dark chocolate can be used for dipping depending on your sweetness preference.
  • Store leftover truffles in a single layer separated by parchment in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • For longer storage, freeze truffles in an airtight container for up to two months.
