Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (Kings Hawaiian rolls recommended)
- 6 oz ham, thinly sliced
- 5 oz salami, thinly sliced
- 5 oz pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 9 slices provolone cheese
- ⅓ cup pepperoncini, sliced
- ⅓ cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced
- ¼ cup salted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh recommended)
To Serve (Optional)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Assemble sliders: Lay the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet or pan. Layer ham slices first, then add salami, followed by pepperoni and provolone cheese. Add sliced hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini on top, then cover with the top halves of the rolls.
- Prepare garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter with Italian seasoning and crushed garlic. Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Brush sliders: Brush the seasoned butter mixture over the tops of the sliders, making sure to coat all surface areas and crevices for maximum flavor.
- Cover and bake: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until the rolls turn golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven. Slice them individually and serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Using fresh garlic enhances the flavor more than jarred garlic.
- Kings Hawaiian rolls provide a soft and slightly sweet base that pairs perfectly with the savory meats and cheese.
- If you prefer less heat, reduce or omit the pickled hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini.
- For easy cleanup, line your baking sheet with parchment paper or foil before assembling the sliders.
- These sliders can be made a few hours ahead and reheated covered in the oven to maintain moisture.
