Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven and crust. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate. Roll out or press the dough evenly into the pie plate and crimp the edges with your fingers to form the crust.
  2. Mix the filling. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice. Toss well to coat all the fruit evenly. If there is liquid pooling at the bottom, stir in an additional tablespoon of cornstarch to thicken.
